Toy Chest

I built this toy chest for my daughter and I wanted it to match the bassinet I built in 2018. The chest is made of solid white oak and walnut. The dimensions are about 24” long, 15” deep, and 17” tall. I used dowels for the joinery and no-mortise hinges to attach the lid; I also used a slow close lid stay on the lid. I used the CNC router to route the handholds as well as the templates for the finger recess and stretcher details.
